Bourse Closes Week With Bearish Sentiments

ACCRA, Ghana (PANA) – The Ghana Stock Exchange All- Share Index rallied on Friday to end the streak of poor sessions when a 40-cedi gain by Home Finance Company (HFC) pushed it up by 1.08 points on Friday.

As much as 14 out of the 23 listed equities returned negative pressure while the other seven had no pressure on them.

The change for the year to date inched up by 0.15 percent to end the week at 11.09 percent.

On the broader market, a mere 16,000 shares changed hands but bids rose from 32,100 to 114,000.
