Bosomtwe records low patronage on day one of registration

There was low patronage of the biometric voter registration in most communities in the Bosomtwe Constituency as the exercise got off on Saturday.

The registration centres visited by the Ghana News Agency (GNA) include, Esreso, Feyiase, Aputuogya and Adagya.

Mrs Ernestina Owusu-Banahene, the District Electoral Officer, was upbeat saying the necessary machines and materials were in place and that she was confident of a smooth and successful registration of all qualified voters in the area by the close of the exercise.

The applicants however complained that the process was too slow.**
