Bogoso Police hunt for ten highway armed robbers

The Bogoso Police have mounted a search for ten unidentified armed robbers who attacked traders on the Prestea/Bogoso road at the weekend.

The Western Regional Crime Officer, Mr. J. K. Abraham, confirmed the armed robbery attack to the GNA on Monday.

He said the robbers blocked the Prestea/Bogoso road with logs and attacked a 207 Benz bus with registration number GT 640-10.

According to him, the robbers robbed traders of their monies and mobile phones and bolted into a nearby bush.

The robbers fired gun shots that injured some passengers who are doing well after treatment at the hospital.

The driver of the bus, Benjamin Abaka is assisting the Police in their investigations.**
