Bodomase youth developmental organisation inaugurated

The Bodomase Youth Developmental Organisation has been inaugurated at Bodomase in the Sekyere Kumawu District to initiate projects that would help improve educational standards in the community.

The Founder, Kennedy Atta Antwi, disclosed that the organisation would mobilise funds from its membership and other philanthropists to construct a computer laboratory for Bodomase to boost the teaching and learning of ICT in this community.

He said the organisation has also undertaken quiz and reading competitions for basic schools in the community, to inculcate the reading habit among the pupils.

The Member of Parliament (MP) for the area, Philip Basoah, lauded the initiative of the youth, and made a personal donation of GHC2,000.

He also cautioned the youth to desist from drug abuse and excessive alcohol use, and rather channel their energy into more profitable ventures.

Nana Owusu Yamoah, Bodomase Nifahene, presided over the inauguration ceremony.
