Bishop asks church leaders to be worthy ambassadors of God

Cape Coast, August 24, GNA-Right Reverend Mildred Hines, the presiding Bishop of Western AME Zion Church, on Sunday appealed to church leaders to be worthy ambassadors of Jesus Christ.

She made the appeal during the closing session of the 103 annual conference of the church at James Varrick AME Zion at Cape Coast.

Bishop Hines said as they go into the communities to discharge their duties, they would face problems and hardships but they should not lose hope as the Lord would always guide and assist them to overcome problems.

She asked the congregation to dedicate themselves to God and lead exemplary lives worthy of emulation.

Pastor Justice Aggrey and four Elders; Reverend Abigail Yankholmes, Reverend Sylvester Donkor, Reverend Aboagye Boadu and Reverend Awortwe Caiquo were ordained as deacons to climax the conference.

The Bishop was assisted by Mrs. Gwendolyn Brumfield Missionary Supervisor, Rev. Dr. Godfred N. Zormelo, Senior Bishop’s Deputy and Rev. John Napoleon Commey, Bishop’s Administrative Assistant during the service.
