Binduri District to get massive infrastructure in 2016

Mr Daniel Akologo, Binduri District Chief Executive (DCE), has assured the people of massive infrastructural development in 2016.

He said the infrastructural development would be in the areas of education, health, agriculture and security sectors to improve the living standards of the people.

Speaking in an interview with the Ghana News Agency at Binduri, Mr Akologo said though it is not the Assembly’s entire responsibility to provide police posts, as a new district, it intends to build two posts to enhance peace and security in the area.

The DCE said the assembly in collaboration with stakeholders is targeting the rehabilitation of dams and work closely with farmers to encourage more agriculture activities.

Mr Akologo noted that the health of the people is a priority and therefore the assembly is ensuring that health facilities would be provided in the communities to enable the people access medical care without difficulties.

He said in order to make teaching and learning more effective, the assembly would provide the necessary infrastructure.
