Biblical Centre Relocates to Ghana

Nairobi, Kenya — The Catholic Biblical Centre for Africa and Madagascar (BICAM) is moving its offices from Kenya’s capital Nairobi to Accra in Ghana, where other departments of the Catholic Church in Africa are based.

The Director of BICAM, Rev Terwase H Akaabiam, confirmed to CISA the new postal and E-Mail addresses, as well as telephone and fax numbers.

“In line with the decision of the Standing Committee of the Symposium of Episcopal Conferences of Africa and Madagascar (SECAM) at its meeting of February 16-19, 2004 in Accra, that the transfer of BICAM from Nairobi, Kenya, to the SECAM Secretariat in Accra, Ghana [will] be effected on June 30, 2004,” the announcement by Rev Akaabiam said part.

As from July 1, 2004 the current Nairobi BICAM address shall change to BICAM, SECAM Secretariat, P O Box 9156 KA, 4 Senchi Str, Airport Residential Area, Accra, Ghana. The new E-Mail address will be [email protected], [email protected], whereas the BICAM Website will remain the same, http://www.bicam-cebam.org.
