Bible Friends Int’l launches “Walk For Jesus”

Bible Friends International, a christian NGO has just launched a “Walk For Jesus” which is geared towards promoting Youth Evangelism and advocacy.

The maiden edition of the” Walk For Jesus” took off on Saturday, in the Christian Village community. The Walk accompanied by a brass-band was well attended by the youths of various churches in the community carrying placards with Godly inscriptions such as: “Jesus Saves”, “Jesus is the way”, “God is calling”, “My City is for Jesus”, “King Jesus” among others.

The NGO, Bible Friends International was established early this year as a not for profit Christian Broadcasting Organisation dedicated to promote Youth Evangelism, Advocacy and Humanitarian Aid.

Speaking to the Press, Mr. Fred Noamesi, President of the NGO said the “Walk For Jesus” is to remind every christian of the great commission by the Lord Jesus as written in Mark 16 : 15.

He outlined two objectives of the Walk.

Firstly, He believes that in this end time, it has become imperative to stir up the spirit of Evangelism among the Christian youths in our communities.

Secondly, his outfit believes that outreaches that will boost the confidence of the youth to openly talk about Jesus ought to be encouraged.

However, the outgoing Assemblyman for the Anumle Electoral, Mr. Kodzo Hamenya Keglo who was also a participant said the walk is a good health exercise for the elderly who hitherto may not do any body exercise by themselves.

Richmond Bada, Programs Director for the NGO said in conclusion that they are taking the “Walk For Jesus” nationwide and beyond.
