Betty Mould, Mpiani and Brobbey to appear before PAC today

Former Attorney General and Minister of Justice, Betty Mould Iddrisu is likely to make her final appearance before the Public Accounts Committee today to testify about her role in the payment of a 94-million-Euro judgment debt to Construction Pioneers.

Former Chief of Staff, Kwodwo Mpiani and the Chief Executive of the defunct Ghana at 50 secretariat, Charles Wereko Brobbey who were acquitted and discharged over charges of causing financial loss to the State during the Ghana at 50 celebrations in 2007, will also be appearing before the committee.

Mrs. Iddrisu, who has made several appearances before the Committee, has accused the committee’s chairman, Albert Kan Dapaah of overseeing unfair criticisms in the public against her person and deliberately tarnishing her image.

She has also been attributing her inability to recall some issues pertaining to the judgment debt, to the unavailability of some relevant documents.

Deputy Chairman of the Public Accounts Committee, Kweku Agyeman Manu however in an interview with XYZ News said the committee will today finalize inquiry into the CP judgment debt.
