Hardly would one hear political opponents wholeheartedly praise their colleagues when being interviewed.
But there was an exception to the rule this time when the Managing Editor of the Al-hajj Newspaper, waxed eloquently about the capabilities of the newly-elected General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr. Kwabena Agyei Agyepong.
Kwabena Agyepong has been tagged an arrogant individual who has poor human relationship.
However, Alhaji Bature argues strongly that when it comes to choosing people within the NPP who can effectively deliver on their jobs, Kwabena Agyepong stands tall.
Speaking to OKAY FM, Mr. Bature, who is perceived to be sympathetic to the cause of the ruling the National Democratic Congress (NDC) during political debates, stated that when issues about national elections pop up, one of the NPP’s greatest asset is Kwabena Agyepong.
He disclosed that, since 1992, Mr. Agyepong has always been in the Electoral Commission’s ‘strong room’ and ensured electoral officers do the right thing.
This, according to him, makes the current General Secretary of the NPP the best man to lead the party as they prepare for elections in 2016.
