Bankers Assist Police Service

The Ghana Association of Bankers yesterday donated two KIA Pregio GS vehicles and twenty Motorola communication gadgets with spare batteries worth ?500m to the Ghana Police Service.

The Vice President of the Association, Mr. Chris Nartey who made the donation to the Minister of Defence, Dr. Addo-Kufuor, who is the Acting Minister of Interior, said they hope the vehicles and the equipment would aid the police discharge their duties efficiently.

Dr. Addo Kufuor expressed gratitude to the association and called on other corporate bodies to emulate the gesture since the police lack logistics. He pleaded with the association to help stock the Police College with books among others.

Present at the presentation were the IGP, Nana Owusu Nsiah and members of the association.
