NDC’s deputy general secretary, Baba Jamal’s dream of capturing the Akwatia seat has not materialized.
The NPP’s Kiston Akomeng Kissi has trounced him to secure the seat again for his party.
Baba Jamal was popular among the youth.
They believed he could best represent Akwatia in the legislature.
But the Akwatia is an NPP stronghold and so it was not going to be that easy for Jamal who has spent most part of the four years in Accra fighting the course of his party.
