The sycophants around President John Mahama are the bane of his administration, political science lecturer Dr Richard Amoako Baah has said.
According to the former head of the political science department of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), the Mahama administration appears to be suffering from a lack of diversity in opinion, since everyone around the President behaves like a lackey.
“…In a lot of ways, this is what is happening to President Mahama because the people around him don’t want to give him the tough things that they are seeing.
“They keep telling him things that they think he should know. The good things and that is not good for any leader,” Dr Amoako Baah emphasised.
He told Ekow Mensah-Shalders (#EMS) on Class91.3fm’s Executive Breakfast Show (#EBS) on Thursday that a leader always goes astray under such circumstances.
