B/A Police Command issues caution on fraudsters

Sunyani, Oct. 20, GNA – The Brong Ahafo Regional Police Command has advised members of the public to be wary of a group of fraudsters, parading around as coming from Germany with goods, including vehicles for sale in Ghana.

A statement issued and signed by the Regional Police Public Relations Officer (PRO), Inspector Christopher Tawiah, said the fraudsters had been going round in the region, negotiating the sale of buses and other unspecified goods in the name of one Mr Francis Karikari who is domiciled in Germany.

It has also been established that such persons had issued out mobile number 027-7413940 as a contact number in Germany but which has been proved non-existent, the statement said and asked the public to be vigilant and disregard such calls to avoid falling prey to the fraudsters.
