Seven suspects believed to be armed robbers have been arrested by the Brong Ahafo Regional Police Command at Yeji and Kwame Danso.
Five of them were arrested at Yeji and the other two at Kwame Danso. They are Haruna Abdulai, 21; Sekyere Abraham, 23; Akwasi Sunkwa, 21; Ibrahim Hamidu, 18; Hairu Mohammed, aka Booza, 31; Mohammed Awal, 20; and Awudu Laar Ahmed, 18.
The suspects were arrested on Monday June 6 through police intelligence and a tip-off.
According to regional crime officer Superintendent Alhaji Maama Arhin, some of the suspects have already been identified in the respective vicinities where they were arrested.
Police are still looking for more suspects and have appealed to the public to come and identify them.
