B/A: Fire destroys 8-bedroom house at Kwame Danso

Fire has razed down an 8-bedroom house at Line B, a suburb of Kwame Danso in the Sene West district of the Brong Ahafo region.

The flame also ravaged several properties running into millions of Ghana Cedis. It is unclear what triggered the fire which occurred Thursday night.

According Starr News’ Brong Ahafo regional correspondent Michael Mfum Sarpong, tenants of the house had gone to church when the incident occurred.

It took combined efforts of Fire service personnel from Kwame Danso and Atebubu to quench the flame.

One of the tenants who lost his belongings to the fire told Mfum Sarpong he would have to start life from the beginning.

“I was at church when they came for me that our house is on fire. When I got there I saw that the whole house was on fire. I have lost everything, my co-tenants have also lost all their belongs what is left on me is the shirt and trousers I wore to church,” he bemoaned.
