Ayisi Boateng an ‘unrepented bigot’ – Minority

The Minority in Parliament is calling on Ghanaians not to accept the apology by Ghana’s High Commissioner to South Africa George Ayisi Boateng following his divisive comment.

They argued that the apology be thrown into the dustbin because the High Commissioner was forced to do so after being summoned by the President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.

According to them, Mr Ayisi Boateng is not remorseful of his action.
Minority Spokesperson on Communications and Member of Parliament for for Sanerigu constituency ABA Fuseini responding to the High Commissioner’s apology said, “Someone who made such recalcitrant comments saying some Ghanaians are more Ghanaian than others and 72 hours after saying that he is called to the Flagstaff House and forced to apologize that is an insincere apology, this is one of the most insincere apologies.

‘I have ever heard, the man by his countenance is an unrepented bigot and the apology must be thrown into the dustbin, the apology is not even worth the paper it was written on, we should throw it away, no one should waste his time on such an apology”.

However, some groups are calling for the head of the High Commissioner saying he is ‘unfit’ to occupy that position.
