Award Winning Teachers Depart for US Tour

Winners of the National Best Teacher Award for 2001, Mr Augustine Bugase, Martin Ofori Tenkorang and Fraisic Charles Agbakey left Accra on Friday for the United States.

The trip, which forms part of the award scheme for the three teachers, who won in the Teacher Training, Primary School and Senior Secondary School categories respectively would participate in an African Child Development seminar.

The Teachers would visit Wisconsin State University, where they would attend a seminar on Curriculum Development and other places of interest in the United States.

M&J Travels and Tours are sponsoring the package for the round trip at a cost of 20,000 US Dollars.

Officials from M&J and the National Co-ordinator of the National Best Teacher Award scheme were at the Airport to see the teachers off.
