Atta-Mills begins tour of Ashanti Region on Thursday

Accra, Oct. 15, GNA – Professor John Evans Atta-Mills, Flag bearer of National Democratic Congress (NDC), begins an “intensive tour” of the Ashanti Region on Thursday after filing his nomination papers at the Electoral Commission in Accra. A statement signed by Mr Koku Anyidoho, Head of Communications of Atta-Mills Campaign, said Prof. Atta-Mills would remain in the Region for at least a week.

“Spending not less than a week in the Ashanti Region, Prof. Atta-Mills would roll out his better Ghana agenda of investing in people, job creation, infrastructure expansion and how the new NDC Government would operate in an open, honest, humble, truthful and transparent manner,” it said. Meanwhile, Prof. Atta-Mills on Wednesday toured Okaikoi North and Krowor Constituencies in Accra, the statement added. 15 Oct. 08
