Asuogyamna, Birim North Chief Executives Sworn Into Office

Koforidua (E/R), June 20, – Two new district chief executives (DCE’s), Mr Emmanuel Dwamena Bekoe, for Asuogyaman and Mr Prince Yaw Danso, for Birim North, were today sworn into office by the Eastern Regional Minister, Ms Patience Abena Adow, in Koforidua. This follows the confirmation of their appointments by their respective district assemblies in April, this year, after being nominated by the President. Ms Adow reminded the DCE’s that as representatives of the government in their districts, they should comport themselves; they should not rpt not soil the image of the government and party. She asked them to make themselves available to all manner of people in their districts without discrimination saying ”every person is an important human resource who should be listened to and gainfully used for the development of your districts.”
