Assemblyman for Gomoa-Brofo appeals for renovation of bailey bridge

Gomoa-Brofo (C/R) Oct. 14 GNA- The Assemblyman for Gomoa-Brofo-Sampa, Mr. Jacob Degraft Sackey on Thursday appealed to the Department of Feeder Roads and the Gomoa District Assembly to renovate a bailey bridge on river Nkwa Okye that link the area with neighbouring communities.

Mr. Sackey who made the appeal in an interview with the Ghana News Agency at Gomoa Brofo, said the bridge that was constructed over 30 years ago was in a bad state and would soon collapse. He suggested the need to create a link road between Ajumako-Mando and Gomoa-Brofo as a contingency measure.
