Hundreds of supporters of the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC) will march in support of the Mahama-led administration in the Ashanti regional capital Kumasi today.
The march being organized by the ‘Organized Youth of Ashanti’ will tout the successes being chalked by the government.
The march comes just weeks after scores of supporters of the main opposition New Patriotic Party demonstrated over worsening power crisis and harsh economic conditions in the country.
Speaking to Starr News, the regional Youth Organiser of the NDC Brogya Gyamfi said the group intends to project the achievements of the government to the people of the region.
“A President is elected to solve many problems not just energy issues so even though we have some energy problems, the President is still succeeding in some areas and we must let the people know,” he said.
