Asantehene to sit in state at London’s Earls Court

Ghanaians and friends of Ghana in the United Kingdom will have the rare opportunity to witness beauty and dignity of culture and tradition. The King of the Ashanti Kingdom, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II will sit in state at a Fundraising durbar at the Ibis Earl’s Court, 47 Lillie Road, Earls Court, London SW6 1UD on Saturday 9th August 2014 from 2pm.

Admission is free.

The Durbar is to commemorate the 15th Anniversary of His Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu 11, Asantehene’s ascension to the Golden Stool, and is sponsored by Ghana International Bank plc a Ghanaian owned bank based in the city of London. The event which is being produced and covered by The Finest Productions and EMH Global Ltd is aimed to raise funds for two charities, Otumfuo Education Fund and Serwaa Ampem Aids Foundation for Children.
