Asante Kotoko have officially announced the signing of talented midfielder Walid Fuseini on a three-year contract, as the club continues to strengthen its squad ahead of continental and domestic competitions.
The highly-rated player, who has long been linked with a move to the Porcupine Warriors, described the transfer as a dream come true.
“This is the moment I’ve been waiting for. Playing for a club of Kotoko’s stature is a dream, and I believe my qualities can have a real impact here,” Fuseini said after completing his move.
The 22-year-old added that he thrives under pressure and is determined to make an immediate impression, especially as Kotoko prepares for their return to continental football.
“The expectations are high, but I do well under pressure. I want to prove that I belong at the very top, and there’s no better place to do that than at Asante Kotoko if you want to play in Ghana,” he added.
Fuseini’s arrival is expected to boost Kotoko’s midfield depth as the club looks to reclaim its dominance in the Ghana Premier League while making a mark in Africa.
