Konongo (Ash), Jan 14, GNA- Members of the Asante-Akim North District Assembly, have expressed their appreciation to the President for nominating their Member of Parliament, Mr Kwadwo Baah-Wiredu as the Minister of Finance and Economic Planning.
A statement issued at Konongo on Friday and signed by Mr George Kyei-Baffour, the Presiding member, said the President would never regret the choice he had made.
The statement said Mr Baah-Wiredu was hard working, has a high sense of integrity, the ability to build consensus, humble and firm. It assured Mr Baah-Wiredu of the support of the people in the area in his new endeavour to bring about qualitative improvement in the lives of Ghanaians which is the main thrust of Positive Change Chapter two.
