Asamama Primary School appeals for help

Akim Asamama (E/R), Feb. 11, GNA – Management of Akyem Asamama Primary School has appealed to the Atiwa District Assembly to, as a matter of urgency, rehabilitate the school to create a congenial atmosphere for teaching and learning. Miss Juliana Nyarkoa, Head teacher of the school, told the Ghana News Agency that the whole six-classroom block needed to be re-roofed, re-cemented and provided with furniture. She said the present state of the school building was such that normal classes had to be abandoned anytime it was about to rain. Miss Nyarkoa, however, expressed gratitude to the assembly for constructing a three-unit block, store and office to house the Junior High School section.
