Five armed robbers on Friday dawn attacked and killed Mr Isaka Mohammed, a 70 year-old Watchman of the Clear Choice Enterprise, producers of Classic sachet Water at Agona Kwansakrom, near Agona Swedru, in Central Region.
Deputy Superintendent of Police, Paul Wesley Baah, Agona Swedru District Commander made this known to journalists at Agona Swedru.
He said the five masked armed men who attacked the company at 0300 hours on Friday strangled the old man.
According to the DSP Baah, the robbers tied his neck with cloth that led to his death.
He said the robbers took away mobiles phones, laptop and unspecified amount from the company.
He said the body of the deceased has been deposited at the Agona Swedru Municipal Hospital Mortuary awaiting autopsy.
The DSP Baah said the sachet water company is sited at an obscure place, thus preventing the Police to extend their day and night patrols to the area.
