Apostolic Church ordains new leaders of Kasoa East branch

Kasoa (C/R), Dec. 18, GNA – Apostle Alfred Ankoma Mensah, former vice president of the Apostolic Church, Ghana, on Saturday ordained Elders, Deacons, and Deaconesses of the newly created Kasoa East District branch of the Church.

The ordination took place at a pre-Christmas convention in Kasoa under the theme: “For my eyes have seen thy salvation”. In a sermon, Apostle Mensah urged political office holders to work in concert in the interest of the nation, rather than trading in insults.

He said they should use dialogue as the only means of ensuring peaceful co-existence.

Apostle Mensah advised the newly ordained members to work with humility rather than lording it over their members. “Always seek the spiritual and economic upliftment of your followers,=94 he added. He charged them to encourage decent dressing among their members.
