Abronye DC, the Bono Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has formally responded to a disciplinary summons issued by the party, expressing his unwavering readiness to appear before the National Disciplinary Committee.
In his response, Abronye says he is not only willing to face the committee but is also adamant that the proceedings should be broadcast live.
This demand stems from his desire to justify his claims about the actions of Kennedy Agyapong, a senior figure within the NPP, which Abronye believes are significantly detrimental to the party’s unity and overall cohesion.
According to Abronye, Kennedy Agyapong’s actions can be described as “antichrist actions” that undermine the very fabric of the party.
By demanding that the disciplinary process be conducted in the public eye with live broadcasts, Abronye aims to allow party members to witness firsthand the proceedings and assess the allegations against Kennedy Agyapong.
This approach, Abronye believes, would provide transparency and ensure that the party’s rank and file are fully informed about the issues at hand.
In his official statement, Abronye emphasized his preparedness to substantiate his claims about Kennedy Agyapong’s actions.
“I hereby write to indicate my full preparedness and willingness to appear before the Committee to comprehensively lay bare and substantiate the antichrist actions and inaction of Hon. Kennedy Agyapong,” he stated.
Furthermore, Abronye proposed that the committee’s sittings be conducted openly and broadcast live, ensuring that there is no opacity in the process and that party members can hold everyone accountable.
