Anthony Kofi Abledu new DCE for Akatsi

Akatsi (V/R), June 15, GNA – Mr Anthony Kofi Abledu, 49, a biochemist, on Tuesday secured approval of the Akatsi District Assembly as the new District Chief Executive (DCE).

He got 41 votes, 10 against with one abstention. Mr Charles Agbevor, a Circuit Court Judge, swore in Mr Abledu. Mr Kofi Dzamesi, the Volta Regional Minister, said the smooth approval process going on in the region was an indication that the President made the right choices.

Mr Abledu called on assembly members and people in the district to join hands with him to develop the district.
