Ansafo Undertakes a 15 Million- Cedi Classroom Project

Anfaso (E/R), Sept 3, The Anfaso community, near Nsawam, is constructing a six-classroomed block for the Local Authority Primary school at a cost of 15 million cedis. Mr Michael Kwabena Asante, chairman of the Parent-Teacher Association(PTA), said about six million cedis has so far been spent on two classrooms for Primary 5 and 6 while the remaining classes are being temporarily housed in the local Presbyterian Church building. The project is being financed through levies of 2,000 cedis a man and 1,000 cedis a woman. The district assembly has contributed three bundles of corrugated roofing sheets and bags of cement. Mr Asante appealed to the government to give them material support to complete the project on schedule.
