Another woman dies in church

Ms Cecilia Tsibu, a 38-year-old senior recorder at the Bibiani Magistrate Court, who suddenly collapsed during church service last Sunday, died on arrival at the Bibiani Government Hospital.

The pastor and the entire church members of the Bibiani Baptist Church are still struggling to overcome the shock brought on by the tragic death of Ms Tsibu, who collapsed while giving testimony in church about God’s goodness to her.

Mr Osei Kofi Amoako, the Bibiani District Magistrate, who confirmed the death to the Ghana News Agency (GNA), said the deceased was a hardworking staff of the court and “nobody expected this as she looked very fit and healthy when she was last seen at work”.

She was survivied by a husband, Mr Michael Tawiah and four children.

Grief-stricken family members and spouse of the deceased refused to talk when contacted by the GNA.

The body has since been deposited at the Bibiani Government Hospital morgue for autopsy.
