Ankaase Asona Family Donates To School

The Ankaase Asona Family at Atonsu in the Sekyere West District of Ashanti, at the weekend presented 40 dual desks valued at six million cedis to the Atonsu Methodist Primary School. The donation was in memory of the late Madam Akua Fokuo, a member of the family whose sudden death occurred at Atonsu on April 10.

Nana Kwaku Owusu, Ankaasehene of Atonsu, on behalf of the family said the furniture was the family’s modest contribution towards the development of education in the town.

The Reverend Peter B.K. Owusu, Superintendent Minister of the Atonsu Circuit of the Methodist Church, commended the family and called on individuals and organisations to contribute to the development of education in the area.
