American institute honours Oti Boateng

Accra, June 25 GNA – The American Biographical Institute (ABI) by the probation of its governing members established the Daasebre Oti Boateng Award Foundation to serve lifelong tenure as an honorary chapter of the institute.

The purpose of the award is to commend and salute individuals who have made unprecedented contributions to the profession of statistics.

In an accompanying correspondence to Daasebre Oti Boateng, Omanhene of New Juaben Traditional Area signed by Dr J.M. Evans, President of ABI, the institute expressed satisfaction to record for the purpose of historical documentation the official inauguration of the Oti Boateng Award Foundation.

According to the deed of establishment, the work of the foundation shall represent the ideals set forth by the institute and that the award preferred would be discerning and revered to reflect the standards set out by the ABI. Dr. Evans, President of ABI, also said the Daasebre Oti Boateng Award Foundation would exist as prominent fixture of the institute. “The reputation of your respected name will undoubtedly serve to embellish the esteem and authority with which the ABI is regarded and for that, I want to sincerely thank you,” he added.
