Amanadehye – Legon wins top award

Amanadehye has been named the most organised old students association of 2012/2013 academic year during the 2013 ExLA Awards.

The ExLa Awards was held on Saturday, May 25, 2013 at the Law Faculty Auditorium, University of Ghana.

Amanadehye competed with strong old students associations like Akataslopsa and Apsu-Hopsa to win the prestigious award.

Last month, Legon students voted Amandehye? as the most organised school association during the Legon SRC’s 3rd Annual Excellence Awards held on Friday, April 26, 2013 under the theme “Unveiling Holistic Excellence & Its Impact on National Development”.

In an exclusive interview with the media, Jerry Obeng Boateng, President of the Association, classified the awards as pinnacled trophies, and also dedicated them to the entire membership.

He, therefore, appealed to the new executives and all members of the association on the University of Ghana campus, and nationwide to be committed to hard work in order to enable the group win more laurels.

Amanadehye is an old students association made up an all-male senior high school, Premeph College, and all-female senior high school, Yaa Asantewaa Girls all coated in Kumasi, Ashanti Region.
