AMA to sign MOU with the government of Netherlands

Accra, March 11 GNA- Accra Metropolitan Assembly (AMA) will soon sign a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the government of Netherlands aimed at fostering development cooperation.

The signing would be undertaken by Mr.Job Cohen, the Mayor of Netherlands, who is expected to arrive in the country next week Thursday.

Mr. Arie C.A. van der Wiel, Netherlands Ambassador to Ghana disclosed this when he called on the Mayor of Accra Mr. Stanley Adjiri Blankson.

The call aimed at primarily congratulating the AMA boss for his new post and wishing him well.

Mr. Blankson said he hoped the government of Netherlands would help transform the capital city to correspond with modern ones elsewhere. The rest of their discussion was held behind door.
