AMA: Exercise to rid city of illegal structure is continuing

Accra, March 2, GNA – The Accra Metropolitan Assembly (AMA) on Friday reminded the public that its exercise to rid the city of all illegal structures was continuing.

A statement issued by the AMA Public Relations Department warned owners of such structures operating in the Tetteh Quarshie Circle area, along Lagos Road in East Legon to IPS and along the Tetteh Quarshie Circle-Legon-IPS Junction to remove their structures by Sunday, March 4. “All illegal structures in the said areas will be destroyed or removed after the said date and the owners surcharged with the cost of removal,” it said.
