All hands on deck- Rev Marfo

Kumasi, March 24, GNA- The Very Reverend Dr E.K. Marfo, Superintendent Minister of the Asawasi circuit of the Methodist Church, has said all Ghanaians must play their roles in order to find solutions to problems in the country.

He reminded them that if they all accepted to play their expected roles very well, many of our problems would be solved.

The Rev Dr Marfo was preaching the sermon to round off the 12th annual general meeting of the Kumasi Diocesan Methodist Lay Movement Council at the Mount Zion Methodist Church at Ahinsan in Kumasi on Sunday.

The theme for the function was: “Unless You Repent You Will All Perish”.

He said: “Let us become part of the efforts at promoting the growth of not just the church but the nation”.

The Superintendent Minister said as Christians, it was important for them to mirror the life of Christ by avoiding corrupt practices and lead morally upright lives.

He said it was through this that they could bring dignity and honour to the Christian religious faith and also positively influence society.

Evangelist S.K. Danso, the Diocesan Lay Chairman, advised Christians to call for responsible conduct from politicians as the nation gears up for general elections.

He said it was necessary to guide against pronouncements that could spark off confusion and undermine national peace and security.
