Aliu Mahama’s condition worsens at Korle-bu

RadioXYZonline.com can confirm that Former Vice President, Alhaji Aliu Mahama, is in a critical condition at the Cardio Centre at the Korle-bu Teaching hospital.

The former Vice President has been at the hospital for about ten days where he is being treated for what is believed to be a heart related ailment.

Alhaji Aliu Mahama was the Vice President for eight years under the erstwhile Kufuor administration.

There were reports earlier on Wednesday that Alhaji Mahama had given up the ghost but his aides have denied the rumour saying he is recuperating after being treated by the hospital.

XYZ News’ reporter who is at the Cardio Centre says family members who are at the hospital do not look the least happy about the situation. The doctors are however quiet about the condition of the former vice president.

President Mahama last week charged the doctors to provide Alhaji Mahama with all the needed medical care he requires.
