In Memoriam
Dear United Patriots,
As some of you may already be aware, I regret to inform you of the death of Mr. Akwasi Owusu. He was the immediate past Chairman of the Washington, DC Chapter. He died after a battle with a chronic illness at Inova Fairfax Hospital, in Falls Church, VA, on August 31, 2010.
Mr. Owusu was well known and beloved in the NPP both here in US and in Ghana. He served our Chapter in DC with selfless devotion, and unparalleled dedication. He was a true patriot and a passionate member of the NPP party. The Washington Chapter, NPP-USA and the bereaved family will organize funeral rite for the late Akwasi Owusu on October 8, 2010 in Washington DC.
Let us remember the Owusu family in our prayers during this difficult time of their profound loss.
