Akwamu Traditional Council Warns Govt

The Akwamu traditional council has warned government against the use of Juapong as capital of a proposed new district- West Tongu. The new district will be created from the North Tongu district which stretches from Adidome near Sogakope to the border with the Eastern region. Juapong, considered a part of the Volta Region is also been claimed by the people of Akwamu in the Eastern region.
