Akufo-Addo, Mahama, Nduom and Greenstreet to face off at IEA debate

The Presidential debates are here with us again.

The organizers, Institute of Economic Affairs (IEA), Friday, October 28, 2016 announced that the debates will commence in November.

The First among the three debates, according to the public policy institute, will take place at the Radash Hotel in Tamale on November 8, 2016 and shall be followed with a Vice-Presidential debate on November 15, 2016 at the Best Western Hotel in Takoradi.

The Second Presidential debate will take place in Accra on November 22, 2016.

Executive Director of the IEA, Jean Mensah in an interview with Accra-based Citi FM said none of the candidates have declined to participate in the debates.

That means, if everything goes on as planned, President John Mahama who is also the presidential candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) will battle it out with the presidential candidates of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Addo-Dankwa Akufo-Addo, Convention People’s Party (CPP), Ivor Kobina Greenstreet, Progressive People’s Party (PPP), Dr. Papa Kwasi Nduom and independent candidate, Jacob Osei Yeboah.
