Akufo-Addo interacts with Ghanaians in Belgium

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo on Tuesday, 6 June met and addressed the Ghanaian community in Belgium.

Mr Akufo-Addo is in Belgium to attend the meetings of the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals Advocates Group of Eminent Personalities.

He told the Ghanaian community about his government’s plans for the country and his commitment to implement all policies and programmes promised during the electioneering campaign in 2016.

As part of his stay in Belgium, Mr Akufo-Addo will meet with Norwegian Prime Minister Erna Solberg, Co-chair of the UN SDGs Advocates Group of Eminent Personalities. He will also hold separate meetings with Belgian Prime Minister Charles Michel and European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker.

At the opening of the 2017 European Development Days (EDD), Europe’s leading forum on international co-operation and development, he will deliver an address on the theme: “Making Gender and the Youth the Private Sector’s Business”.
