Akua Donkor explodes over running mate saga

The founder and flagbearer for the Ghana Freedom Party (GFP) on Tuesday went berserk on Atinka AM Drive over the possible disqualification of her running mate, who is below 40 years.

Madam Akua Donkor lost control and asked the host not to question her with regards to her national chairman Mr. Kwaku Abankwa who was also being interview on the running mate saga.

Madam Akua Donkor, in the course of the short -lived interview, accused her national chairman of being a member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and that all his actions are aimed at promoting the interest of the NPP and not the GFP.

“I will hang up and stop speaking to you ever again if you persist in asking me questions about Kwaku Abankwa. It is my party and I can choose whoever I want as my running mate without discussing with any one,” she fumed and hanged up.

Madam Akua Donkor has chosen 32-year-old farmer, Mrs. Patricia Asante as her running mate for the 2016 general elections.
