Ahafo-Ano South district gets five billion cedis for projects

Mankranso (Ash), July 4, GNA – The government has allocated 5.2 billion cedis to the Ahafo-Ano South District to undertake development projects. The amount, which included the assembly’s share of the Common Fund, would be used in self-help projects, information technology, human resource development, education and other social services.

Mr Kwaku Obeng Boateng, the District Chief Executive, said this at the assembly’s meeting at Mankranso. He said part of the money would also be used to support vulnerable groups, good governance and maintain security in the district. He urged the assembly members to work diligently and support the assembly to ensure the successful completion of the projects.
