Agona West NPP needs a dynamic and energetic chairman – Kwakye

Agona Nyakrom (CR), July 15, GNA – Mr Enock Kojo Kwakye, Aspiring Chairman for Agona West Constituency branch of New Patriotic Party (NPP) has called on the delegates to vote for a dynamic and energetic chairman to lead the party to victory in 2008 elections. He said the party needed somebody who would find antidote to the teething problems facing the constituency.

Mr Kwakye made the call when addressing polling station executives at separate meetings at Agona Nyakrom, Nkum, Abodom, Lower and Upper Bobikuma and Agona Kwamang as part of his campaign to solicit their votes.

He said it was time for the delegates to elect a youth as chairman to bring positive change to the constituency to enhance development of the party.

Mr Kwakye, who is also the Managing Director of Agonaman Construction Company based at Agona Swedru, pledged his commitment to improve the present condition of the party. He noted that polling station executives should be economically empowered to enable them perform their duties effectively.

Mr Kwakye urged the polling station executives to be mindful of people who would offer them with vain promises and appealed to them to give him the nod to ensure an efficient and effective administration in the constituency to enhance progress of the party. “A visionary and patriotic chairman is needed to rescue Agona West NPP from further trouble. The party has gone through an ordeal for the past two years and the problem must stop,” he added. 15 July 07
