Agona Mankrong commends President Mills

Agona Mankrong (C/R), Feb. 21, GNA – The Chiefs and people of Agona Mankrong in the Agona East District of the Central Region have expressed their appreciation to President John Atta Mills for nominating Mr Kwesi Ahwoi, a son of the area, as Minister for Food and Agriculture (MOFA). They also congratulated Professor Mills for his election as President of the Republic of Ghana.

In a statement signed jointly by Asona Abuasuapanyin, Oscar Mensah and Nana John Ninsin, a sub-chief, and copied to the Ghana News Agency in Agona Swedru, they expressed the hope that Mr Ahwoi would use his expertise to improve Agriculture in the country when approved by Parliament.

In a related development, Mr John O. Arkoh, Agona East Constituency Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) on behalf of the entire constituency executives commended Mr Ahwoi for his support to both Agona East and West constituencies during the last elections.
