HIV/AIDS has been equated to an African disease.Global media reportage on December 1, 2003 (World AIDS day) focused on the effects of this disease on the socio-economic development of Africa. The over 700 million people on the continent especially, those in sub-shara Africa are at the greatest risk.Even if it is not an exclusive disease for Africa as that the statistics could be compared to some developed countries, it is still a problem worth fighting against.
