African Vibes donates books to Opoku Ware Girls Academy

Kumasi, Oct. 16, GNA – A Belgium Based Non-Governmental Organization (NGO), African Vibes, in collaboration with their affiliates in Ghana, African Vibes Ghana, has presented library books valued at 2,000 Euros to the Opoku Ware Girls Academy (Vocational/Technical) and Senior High School on Thursday. The donation was meant to enhance effective learning and teaching in the school.

Mr. Stephen Asare Darko, Chairman of the African Vibes Ghana, who made the presentation, said the habit of reading was not encouraging in Vocational Institutions.

He said the group had earlier made donations to schools in deprived communities, hospitals and also donated bicycles to teachers in some rural communities. Nana Takyiaw Ntiriwaah, Adontenghemaa of Kokofo Asaman Traditional area and the proprietress of the school, expressed gratitude to African Vibes for the books.
