Africa Youth Union commiserates with Mrs. Naadu Mills

Africa Youth Union, a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) has sent its message of condolence to the former First Lady, Dr. Mrs. Ernestina Naadu Mills for the sudden demise of President John Evans Atta Mills.

The group in a statement signed by its National President, Chris Tim Mugerwa, said by the death of President Mills, Ghana, Africa and the world has lost a wise and courageous statesman, whose contribution to the growth and maintenance of world peace and security was phenomenon.

“…His uncompromising stand for human rights and dignity will for long live with us. Although words seem futile now in the midst of your sorrow, they are all we have to give you,” it said.

The statement urged Mrs. Naadu Mills to be resolute and stand firm in the face of this difficulties, and be strong in the Lord for He knows best for his children.

“Please accept these written words as warm hugs to wrap yourself in, and know that we of the African Youth Union (AYU), and the youth of Africa are holding you and your entire family in our hearts at this sad and difficult time,” it added.

The death of former President, Professor John Evans was reported on July, 24, at the 37 Military hospital in Accra, after being taken ill.**
